STRUCTURED LEARNING

DataFlux programmes

Six progressive programmes — DFX-101 through DFX-601 — take your team from pipeline literacy to enterprise-scale flux operations. Each module includes studio workshops at our Burnaby Alpha Way corridor location, live pipeline exercises on sandbox channels, and certification upon completion. Pricing is listed in Canadian dollars and reflects in-studio delivery; remote cohort options are available on request.

DFX-101

Pipeline Foundations

Introduce your team to the five Flux Channels and core orchestration concepts. Participants configure their first ingest connector, apply a basic transformation, and observe records in the Govern audit log. Ideal for data analysts and junior engineers entering the pipeline discipline.

Duration: two days in-studio. Prerequisites: familiarity with SQL and JSON. Outcome: DFX-101 certificate and a sandbox Flux channel you can extend after the programme ends.

C$2,450 per participant · C$11,200 team rate (up to six)

DFX-201

Streaming Data Operations

Deep dive into real-time ingest patterns, backpressure handling, and windowed aggregations. Teams build a streaming pipeline that processes live events and routes enriched output to a warehouse target. Covers schema evolution and consumer group management with production-minded error handling.

Duration: three days. Prerequisites: DFX-101 or equivalent experience. Outcome: production-ready streaming channel blueprint and replay test harness.

C$3,680 per participant · C$16,800 team rate (up to six)

DFX-301

Transformation & Feature Engineering

Master the Transform channel with validation rules, deduplication strategies, and model-ready feature formatting. Learn to version transformation logic and test against historical replay datasets without disrupting live traffic. Feature stores and embedding pipelines are introduced with governance hooks.

Duration: three days. Prerequisites: DFX-201. Outcome: transformation library, automated test suite, and documented feature contracts.

DFX-401

Orchestration & Observability

Configure alerting, lineage dashboards, and SLA monitoring across multi-channel deployments. Participants run failure injection drills and practise recovery workflows until on-call response becomes second nature. Covers cost-aware autoscaling and cross-environment promotion patterns.

Duration: four days. Prerequisites: DFX-301. Outcome: observability stack, incident runbooks, and quarterly review templates.
